odd # of stairs
I don’t like flights of stairs with an odd number of steps. When I go up the steps two-by-two, there’s always that extra odd step that makes your stairclimbing uneven. I have major issues with it.

Same here. Gotta go up the even steps (start on the 2nd step) and go up by twos from there.
There are three flights up steps from the 1st floor to the 4th floor at my school, one right after the other. Two of the flights have 12 steps. The last flight has 13 steps and it drives me nuts (I have to find some other “thing” to pair the lone step up with (like a garbage pail or a pillar or something).
Ditto. I take stairs (going up) two at a time; if there’s an odd number, I take the first three together. If I’m climbing an unfamiliar staircase and misjudge the number of steps and get to the top with just one left, I’ll feel off-balance for quite some time.
