fresh, warm copies
I can’t stand the feel of warm paper coming out of a laser printer or copier. If I have to grab it immediately, I wash my hands afterwards. The thought of it right now makes me cringe…

OH MY GOD I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND
Yes! I must immediately slather moisturizer on my fingertips.
I am the opposite… I run to the printer so I can hug the freshly pritned paper to my chest and absorb maximum warmth from it. I also kind of like that weird smell that just-printed or photocopied paper has
I don’t know if you remember ditto machines and the copies they produced, but they were the EXACT opposite of xerox copies. They were: cool, damp, PURPLE, and very nice to touch. They even smelled good! The advent of xerox drove me crazy, because it happened when I was in high school, and Oh, how I and every other student loathed xerox copies. They stank, they were WARM, (yuck), and the feel of them makes me cringe as well. It was like they simultaneously wick all the moisture from your hands AND abrade your fingers so they feel like they have paper cuts.
