covered ears
When I sleep my ears have to be covered because I know a flesh eating bug is going to crawl in there and eat through my brains. I cannot fall asleep if my ears are exposed.

How old are you kid? Tell your parents or teacher about this.
I used to do this when I was a kid. But only for a short period of time (probably after I saw a horror movie about brain-eating bugs or something… I can’t remember now). So yes, I know how you feel.
I still do this and I am 19, although its not just because of flesh-eating bugs, it is also because ghosts can enter my brain though my ears…not entirely sure how it started
I have this same problem, minus the flesh eating bugs.
I think it just developed after my dad once told me he can’t sleep with ears uncovered. That, or the fact it stops me hearing anything somewhat frightening in the night.
I used to do the same thing. When I was 10 I saw this program about real life strange emergency room visits. One of them was a woman that had some sort of bug stuck in her ear and a doctor was trying to suction it out. It freaked me out so much that I couldn’t sleep without my ears covered for years.
I do it and it’s a ghost thing. My sister screwed me up when I was little. I can’t sleep comfortably without it covered. I’m almost 22.
