hand drying
I can’t stand drying my hands with any kind of towel if only one hand is wet. I have to purposefully make the other hand wet and then dry them both at the same time, because the feeling of one dry hand rubbing against a towel makes me want to hurl.

Lol, I didn’t think I would find one, let alone two other people that have this, but I have it too. I’ve had it for as long as I can remember. If one hand gets water on it, (or some other substance, like mud or dust) my other hand feels incredibly weird and uncomfortable. It’s almost as if my skin is drying up. Like it’s been covered in dry desert sand or something.

Ditto, me. Same thing. It feels better if both hands are wet. The one-hand-dry feeling is so unpleasant I will rub my hands together, or, if the substance I am drying off is not appropriate to wipe onto my other hand, I will turn on the water and rinse my hands so both of them are wet before drying.
Wow, I do this too. Never really makes me want to hurl, it just sort of makes the dry hand feel useless, or something.
Absolutely a MUST! I had a broken hand, and would wet it so I wasn’t drying just my one hand! Ruined the cast…but hey, I felt better!
I don’t have this specific problem, but I do have a similar feeling with foam, I can’t touch the stuff (with dry hands at least, if the foam is wet its better).

sometimes, instead of wetting the other hand, I’d let the wet hand to air dry rather than toweldry
I hate dry skin touching fabric or coarse paper. it makes me want to vomit and grind my teeth. UGH just thinking about it now is killing me. i know exactly what you mean.
I do the same thing. Its because when one hand is wet, the towel tends to stick to the wet hand and only rub against the dry hand so its virtually impossible to get the wet hand dry.

I feel the same way about most everything. It just has to be symmetrical.
