outlook, firefox, word, filemaker
I have to have the programs running on my computer open in a certain order. If a program has to shut down for some reason and restarting it will put it in the wrong spot, I’ll close down the other programs to put it in the right order. I also do this with the tabs in my internet browser, certain sites have to be open in a certain order. If they are out of order I rearrange them to be correct.

I thought I was the only one who did that! It’s good to know there are other misfits.
Outlook always has to be my first tab if not I will do the exact same thing!

I do this, too! I’ve also taken to putting my computer on Hibernate instead of shutting down, just so I don’t have to re-open any windows.

Oh my god, I’m relieved to learn I’m not the only person who has to do this. Seriously, when I’m using my PC at work and things are not *just so* I get kind of distressed.

I do the same thing. Apparently there are a lot of us. The worst is when iTunes gets out of order. It takes so long to shut down and start up.

Guilty as charged here as well. I have to have Outlook, then Word, then IE if they’re all open at once. How odd we all are….

I have done this for as long as I remember. Outlook (or whatever mail program I am using) ALWAYS has to come first!

YES YES YES! If I have more than one file open from the same program, they have to be together. IM boxes, Word docs, it all has to be together on the taskbar by program.
And Firefox must must must be first.
I do this too. Especially at work. Outlook first then various other programs that I have to have open through out the day in very specific orders and locations.
I do that too, and I just downloaded the TaskBar Shuffle. I love it so. =]
iTunes must be first, then IE (which I rarely use anymore), then Firefox, then AIM or YIM chat windows last.
I’m the same way, except, if i open a tab on firefox in the wrong order, i can’t just move it, i actually have to close it and open the right one.
