At night I have to get my hands wet before I go to bed, in addition to this I keep a glass of water by me all night in case I wake up and my hands feel dry.

I thought that water alone made your skin even more dry?
Same thing goes for my feet. xD You’re not alone.
My hands are always sweaty and I hate it. You should be happy your hands are dry.
try some hand cream
I am the same but I must use Sorboline cream.
With me at least, every time I wash my hands they get dry, so you should probably use hand lotion of some sort instead of water.
MY boyfriend is like this. He especially can’t touch anything after he showers cause his hand dry out. I think its cute
ME TOO! MY HANDS AND FEET. If they feel dry and hot, I am unbelievably uncomfortable. i seriously thought I was alone with this, my boyfriend makes fun of me all the time for it.
And I can’t use lotion or antiseptic gel, because while it helps initially, it will always make it worse after only a couple minutes. I don’t keep a glass of water near me at night, but I always have a nalgene full wherever I go. And I will dump some on my hands if need be.
I am the same way, except I make fists when I sleep and put my thumb between my index and middle fingers. If I wake up with the fist undone and my hands dried out, I freak out. I immediately have to get up and put my hands under the faucet.
