iSight sees you
I have a macbook with a built-in camera. After I shower, I go into my room and I always have to turn it around or turn it off because I’m afraid it’s on and someone is watching me.

I do this too. I always have the feeling someone is watching me through my macbook. Sometimes I talk at it, so that if someone actually can see me, I might freak them out a little…
I do this at work. They installed webcams on our computers so we could have teleconferences, and I always turn mine so it faces the ceiling if I’m not using it.
When I was little I’d do this with mirrors, except that I’d talk to them in a mean way and tell them that I knew they were there, to make them feel worried. (You can’t turn mirrors away, so I guess that was my reaction…) I still kind of do it,its the same way with iSight, but its different now. I only think it sometimes.
Lmao! Wow, I have to turn my webcam up to the ceiling or away to the wall before I can sleep or take my cloths off, even though my computer is turned off,,,
I have a detatchable webcam and even when it is disconnected I still get paranoid that for some reason it is still working for whoever I’ve recently been talking to on MSN.
haha understandable. but with macbooks there is a green light that indicates when it’s on
Interesting, since there are virus’ for the Mac that send pictures from the camera out randomly.
So now, I’d say that this is smart and not neurotic
whoa, I do the same
that reminds me of when i was little and i had all my dolls in my room. anytime i wanted to change clothes in there i had to either turn them over or lay them down (for the ones with the rolled back eyes). eventually i had to throw them all in the closet under a pile of clothes.
I saw somewhere online that someone hacked into someone else’s webcam.
I put a tiny piece of black tape over the “eye” of my iMac’s camera. You know, just in case.
i dont do this but my dad does. he puts a sticky note over the camera unless hes using is because hes always afraid someones watching him
