neurotic calculations
After I read this neurosis, I started a chart to find every single possible time on the clock where it works. The chart has about 1500 calculations on it (all done by hand of course) and took several hours to make. It is quite a piece of work.
The times are:
1:27, 1:39, 1:48, 1:58
2:17, 2:49, 2:59
3:19, 3:37
4:18, 4:29, 4:44, 4:45, 4:46, 4:54, 4:55, 4:56
5:18, 5:29, 5:44, 5:45, 5:46, 5:54, 5:55, 5:56
6:18, 6:29, 6:44, 6:45, 6:46, 6:54, 6:55, 6:56
7:12, 7:21, 7:33
8:14, 8:15, 8:16, 8:38, 8:41, 8:51
9:09, 9:13, 9:24, 9:25, 9:26, 9:31, 9:52
11:19, 11:37
12:47, 12:57
Now all you have to do is memorize them!

it probably would be easier to use excel
Probably, but I’m no good with it.
You missed 9:42.
All of your other times are correct, though. I cheated and wrote a shell script to test all possible times, took about 30 minutes to work out instead of hours, so computers really can save some time in mundane things like this, and it was fun to work out the script
Now I’m considering adjusting it to handle military time, which will probably give several more hits…
now that was neurotic
Dang! Just looked back at my paper, and, sure enough, I totally skipped 9:42. Oh well, great job with the script, i could have saved a lot of time if i knew how to do that XD
