I cannot watch anyone shave, especially on TV. Not even cartoon characters, like Homer Simpson. I always think about what it would feel like to get cut by a razor blade, and gush blood everywhere.

I know what you mean. they had an episode of csi where a guy poisoned himself with blood thinners and a tiny nice from a razor blade made blood first ooze, then trickle, then gush everywhere and he kept trying to cover it up with his hands in some futile effort of stem the tide of blood.
it made me a bit nauseous and the image is sort of still etched in my mind

Really, I do. It works even after my absolutely necessary 6 swipes per area.
Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl. If someone uses a straight razor it is even worse. That scraping sound is torture. The opening scene of Dexter is horrific. Truly.
I have to turn away when I see shaving commercials, I always freak out. Watching Sweeney Todd was awful for me. I knew it would happen, but I think I actually freaked more when it didn’t happen than the times it did
I threw up watching The Wall when Pink shaves his eyebrows off.
I have the same issue with watching shaving! I think it stems from seeing a movie where a man is getting shaved with a straight razor and you know the person shaving him is going to cut him…and just when they’re about done he does! (I think it was a mob movie)
