prepare for zombie battle
Every time i enter a new building, i immediately assess it for survivability and defense in the case of a zombie attack. This happens quite a bit considering i refinish wood floors, and rarely see the same house twice. I also look for various objects that can be used for weapons, and, when bored, go over in my mind a working battle plan and assignment of orders for everyone else in the room.

A guy I dated used to do this and it was hilarious. We ended up doing it together absolutely everywhere we went and it stuck with me over the years.
i do this too. the first thing i did when moving into my last house was assess it for zombie attack defensive capability. and i wish it would actually happen, would make life so much more interesting (as long as they were original dawn of the dead style slow moving zombies)

This is just common sense.
There was a fire at a warehouse near where my wife works and I was convinced it was actually a Zombie outbreak and the fire engines and police were actually trying to contain the Zombies and pretending it was a fire. In my head, I planned the rescue of my wife, our escape and worked out the best places in the UK to head towards (Scottish Highlands if you’re wondering).
I think this is directly related to the number of Zombie flms I’ve watched recently.
One of the oddest things was that I was really hoping it was true.

I have to have a nearby weapon in each room or i get worried.
I do this all of the time. Even at my own house.

This is an awesome neurotic trait! When the zombie attacks happen I hope I am stuck with you. It could be fun.
I do almost the same thing. its oddly comforting to know that i am not alone.
i’ve done this before too… and found that bi-mart is the most optimal place for a zombie attack. it usually has 1 entrance, concrete walls, ample food, supplies, and it carries guns.
i do this all the time…. after i read “world war z” (great book) and saw i am legend, i have been totally obsessed with zombie defense. me and my friends even made a chart of the different zombie types and how best to defend against them.
lol my brother has read all those books and he plays left 4 dead all freaking day. He recently bought a machete (that he sharpened) and an 8 inch knife for zombie attacks lol. He’s also looking into guns. I make fun of him but in the back of my head i always think, whos gonna be laughing when the zombies attack?
I was also going to recommend the Zombie Survival Guide book, but it’s already been done (look up^)

yeah i do that a lot too. i also cannot sleep right or comfortably unless the door is closed, also i once assessed the survivability of one of the buidlings at my school out loud… yeah i think everyone who heard me thought one of 2 things: crazy, or smart
