layer by layer
I eat candy bars in sections. For example when I eat a Milky Way I first eat off the chocolate, then I eat the nougat and lastly I eat the caramel. My husband makes fun of me for this, but I think that it tastes better in sections.

completely normal. there is a chocolate bar available in canada called ‘coffee crisp’. it also has to be consumed in sections
and it DOES taste better.
Little Debbie Nutty Bars! I’ve been doing this for so long that I happen to know that for some reason in the 90s they made a switch. It used to be that if you peeled the top layer first, the last layer would be peanut butter AND chocolate. Plus that layer has the most chocolate. I enjoyed eating them all separately but having the last layer be all three flavors at once. Now, though, you have to do them the other way and it’s not quite as satisfying.
There’s no caramel in a milky way
I’m really so glad to find out that I’m not alone in this.
I eat the middles out of Reese’s cups first. My favorite part is the chocolate edge with the peanut butter fitted inside, so I save it for last.
Udarnik, ty ,u learn something new every day…btw, I am an American…:)
Milky Ways in America = Mars bars in Europe.
3 Musketeers in American = Milky Way in Europe.
Europe doesn’t have 3 Musketeers; everyone has Snickers. And they all taste best eaten in layers.
Rmg12,You are thinking of 3 Muskeeters….
why would caramel be in a milky way. A milky way is just nougat. A mars bar has caramel in
I like to do that with chocolate covered snack cakes like Ring Dings and Yodels (Ding Dongs and Ho-Ho’s in most of the USA). With a Yodel, I’ll carefully peel off the chocolate coating and eat that first. Then I’ll unroll the cake and lick off the cream filling. Then I can eat the cake.
I do the same thing! Twix and Kit Kats bring it out more than anything else. I always gnaw the edges off first. With Twix, I eat the caramel and then the cookie; with Kit Kats, I eat the layers off one by one.
Especially Twix and Kit Kat’s here too. But, I do it for most foods like that. And, with potato chips, I have to lick the stuff off of both sides before I eat the chip.
I do the same with snickers
