back against the wall

Whenever I am waiting for the tube I have to stand with my back against the wall as i am terrified that someone is going to push me in front of the train when its approaching.

ME TOO! I always make sure I stand far enough away from the platform edge that even if someone tries to push me, I won’t fall onto the track. Announcements in this vein are far too frequent for my liking:
“Due to a person under the train at Chancery Lane, the Central Line has been suspended between Liverpool Street and Marble Arch”
