giving the other foot a break
As I walk I pay attention to how my feet feel. If one feels more worn-down than the other, I will purposely walk harder on the other until they feel the same.

I do things similar to that; if i touch something cold like snow or ice with one hand, then i HAVE to touch it with the other hand to make sure they’re even or else it bugs me.
I do those too! Sometimes I’m holding my boyfriend’s hand and I start tapping, then each hand has to be equal so I keep squeezing randomly trying to make them even until he asks,”baby, what are you doing?”
Ahh! I do the same thing! lol. Also, when I’m sitting in the car listening to music and I imitate the beats with my hands or feet, I feel that If I’ve tapped more beats with my right, I have to do enough with my left to catch up with the other hand until they feel equal too.
Seems sensible to me
Me too! Today it was especially bad
oh my god i do this too, the worst is when there are a bunch of really crunchy leaves and i step on one with one foot, or step on a crack with one foot.
Yup I do this.
But I also start thinking about how my walking looks to people afar and adjust it.
If Im on my own and thinking too much about my walking then I trip cause I think so much about not tripping
this is exactly what i do. another thing, is that if one foot touches a piece of road that’s painted, i have to do the same with the other foot, or they feel really un even.
