be kind to the little guys
when i was a child, i would always swallow baby grapes whole, because i didn’t want to hurt them. the regular sized grapes were fine…they were grown up and ready for their fate. but i wanted to be as kind as possible to the little ones.

I would do this with beans. I never ate ones that were next to each other because I felt bad for eating their friend or family member.

Not only are you allowing (or making them) drown whole, alive and feeling in your corrosive stomach acid, but while their delicate baby grape flesh is being slowly and painfully burned by acid, they also get to look around and see the masticated remnants of their kin being dissolved as well. This kind of reminds me of a certain deposed despot’s act of dropping enemies feet-first into a wood-chipper. Bravo, sir.
