At my office there’s a door that you can either open by hand or hit the handicap access button for it to open for you. Every once in a while even though no one hits the button, the door will automatically open. I always thank the door when this happens.

When the light turns green at an intersection i always say thank you followed by the name of the street, “thank you oliver”.
