what is worse for neurotics: uncertainty or negative outcomes?
“No one likes bad news, but for some people, no news is worse. People who are mildly neurotic are stressed by uncertainty even more than by bad news, a new study finds.”

Oh, for me it’s definitely uncertainty. I can’t stand the wait for the result. If someone said, “you will get your head chopped off tomorrow or Wednesday,” I’d probably want to die tomorrow, just to spare myself the agony of the wait.
Uncertainty! Hands-down!
Oh my god, yes. I hate nothing so much as not knowing. Because if you don’t know, you can’t PREPARE. And I always have to be prepared for everything, good or bad… good things turn bad if I don’t see them coming, and bad things get better if I do. Win/win.
that’s me alright!
