When I’m at work and it gets to the final hour, the song lyric “it’s the final countdown!” pops into my head. It does this on the last hour, the last 30 mins, the last 15 minutes and the last 5 minutes.

i love this – i dont exactly do this – but something similar
Wow, you must be watching the clock pretty intensely then. Maybe if you find a job you actually enjoy you’ll find yourself losing track of time and be surprised by the end of the work day.
I don’t do that, but when I’m sniping auctions on Ebay (which I haven’t done in years) the song “Movin’” from FF8 always pops into my head. Usually I play it whenever I do this, to accentuate the mood.
