cater to your deodorant
When I get dressed I always remove my pyjamas, then apply deoderant, then i can only put underclothes (bras, singlets) on my top half before putting all my clothes on my bottom half. My actual top always goes last because I think that if the deoderant is still wet it’ll soak through my top and look like I have sweaty armpits. Sometimes I’ll even straighten my hair before putting my top on, just to give the deoderant longer to dry.

I do this too because if still wet the deodorant does indeed soak through your clothes and mark them.
This is really logical. I should probably let my deodorant dry rather than putting it on right before I put my shirt on.
I do this too and like the first two posters said: it’s logical. It’s like putting your shoes on after you put your pants on.
I use speed stick deodorant, so I put my shirt on before applying it, so I don’t get white marks.
