on my best behavior in the elevator

When I\’m in an elevator with others I will only hit the door close button once, but if I’m alone will hit it excessively often pretending that I’m being chased.

Sometimes I also just pretend that another man on the bus has been following me for a few hours, even though he got on the bus before I did. I subsequently have to “lose” him.
