ice this time, not pretzels
I find myself eating trays of ice each day. I eat the small ice cubes, then the glossy ice cubes, then the cracked ice cubes. This is a VERY distinct order that can never be broken.

The others are right, cravings for ice are generally a sign of iron deficiency.
It is seen in pregnant women frequently.
I ate ice as a child, and if I had such bad fillings now, I still would. I love ice, because I love love LOVE cold water, and what’s colder than water so cold it’s SOLID?! I never understood how ice fell into the same category as eating dirt and the like – it’s still water, just a different form of it. Why isn’t popsicles included?
I actually felt chewing ice helped my teeth more than harmed it. Never got a single cavity, never chipped a single tooth, until I got braces and couldn’t eat ice anymore. After that, I got five cavities all at once. I felt it kept my teeth strong – now, they are so crazy weak.
