i can’t! sorry.
It bothers me when people do not use the correct punctuation and capitalization. Like in the title of this website. I am neurotic. I.I.I. Capital I. Please change it.

That’s sort of ironic, being that you didn’t use proper punctuation. “Like in the title of this website” isn’t a sentence! Instead of a period after “capitalization”, I feel like it should be something else. A hyphen or even a comma seems more fitting, but that period after “capitalization” is killing me. “I” isn’t a sentence, either, so those I’s with the period after them really bother me. I totally feel you on your neurosis about proper punctuation and capitalization, though, as you can probably tell.
i personally prefer using lower case except in a business setting. i’ve just always thought it looks nicer, even in handwriting. i got in a little trouble in high school over my handwriting but my english teacher was supportive as she liked e.e. cummings! (me, too) i really when people type in ALL CAPS!! punctuation is absolutely key, however. do they even teach that anymore? seems like all the texting and im-ing has ruined the basics of spelling and punctuation.
Actually, sometimes it looks nicer (in the case of this website title) when it’s all lower case. I think putting a capital I would make it look weird.
i always write everything in lower case. except for work things, of course, but otherwise… all low.
Dear Izzy,
“Instead of a period after “capitalization”, I feel like it should be something else.”
The comma goes inside of the quotation! It should be “capitalization,” not “capitalization”,.
I just thought that you might want to know – it was bothering me.
Also regarding your “being that you didn’t use proper punctuation,” “being that” is improper grammar, but that’s on a different note.
I’m the same way. I can be talking with my boyfriend on IM, and he just cares about typing fast and getting the general message across, but I am over here freaking out like “Did he not capitalize this because it’s insignifigant, or just because he was in a rush?”. And then, he’ll come out of nowhere and start being Mr. English Teacher Wannabe.
The weird thing is I made a comment on this just a few hours ago. Technically I made a comment on the title of the website.
I hate it when people don’t use proper punctuation or capitalization. That and if they don’t use the right version of a word (their/they’re/there or its/it’s, etc.).
ill pull out my hair if anyone makes it a capitol :X
