water + glass = ugh
It takes a lot of will power for me to drink water out of a glass. Water’s disgusting enough to begin with, and the feeling of it on my lips against glass is terrible. I also have this fear of suddenly biting down on a glass and having it break in my mouth. I’m afraid of broken glass grating against my teeth, not being cut by it. That’s no big deal.

Water is disgusting? How do you feel about breathing air?
water IS disgusting. it always tastes so chemical-y and sick. i usually have to mix it with something or at least put a lemon wedge in it before i can drink it. gross.
what about filtered water? i understand that tap water has a lot of chemicals in it, but how about filtered water?
I have a bit of neurosis about testing strengths and limits of things and i once tested the strength of glass between my teeth. I bit down on the edge of a glass until it broke in my mouth. unpleasant, but i did not cut my mouth. anyway, I can understand your fear.
I don’t like hard things banging against my teeth, so I understand the not-liking-to-drink-from-a-glass thing. I tend to use plastic glasses, or drink through a straw.
I also don’t like drinking water – I am chronically thirsty and drink about 4-5 litres a day; but drinking a whole glass of plain water tends to make me throw up. I prefer soda or dilute squash or juice.
My FAVORITE drink of all time is drinking ice water from a glass. I just love how cold and refreshing it is.
I hate flavored water. Especially lemon, it tastes like soap.
I kn ow how you feel. i HATE drinking water from glasses. I would rather drink it from a bottle, BUT i can drink anything else from a glass. But i also hate water in general, too much at one time will make me puke.
Water is disgusting? What exactly do you drink then?
“too much at one time will make me puke”
Did you know that you can overdose on ANYTHING, and vomiting is your body’s way of telling you that if you don’t stop drinking so much, that you’re going to OD?
