i check my flickr compulsively, even when i haven’t uploaded anything new in ages. if i don’t, i get an overwhelming feeling that someone said something life-alteringly important. i can’t stop thinking about it.

I don’t use Flicker but don’t they have something to notify you by email if someone comments on a pic?
I do that with Facebook. The only thing is, I have my Facebook notify me (via email) when I have a comment.
I still check my page, hoping someone’s said something, only to discover that no one hasn’t (even if I know that since I didn’t get an email).
Serenity meant “Only to discover that no one has (even though I know this already since I didn’t get an email notification”
I’m on the same page as Serenity except I have the added problem of not having any friends. I never get notifications but I will be ready when I do.
