the color of my energy
I have a keyboard that lights up in 3 different colors: blue, red, and purple. I turn on the light in different colors depending on the activity I’m doing on my computer. Blue is for work, because blue incites structure and focus. Red is for video games because red is strong and fills me with the kind of energy needed for video games. Purple is for anything involving art and purely for satisfaction purposes, because purple is calming and lets me know I am free to enjoy myself.

I have the same keyboard (Saitek Eclipse II). I always have it on red. It’s easier on the eyes than blue, although I might start going to purple for when I’m gaming (I associate purple with energy more than red)
That’s me as well! Although sometimes in certain video games I change it around. For example, when playing Half-Life 2, I use blue for times when Gordon is traveling and doing only routine fighting; red for when he’s in a big fight, in great danger, or facing a “boss”; I use purple for when he is with Alyx.
Sometimes I turn down the brightness; it affects the tone. When purple is very light, it looks like white.
