the hidden fart
When I’m in the close company of others and I have to poot (especially if I know it would be a loud one), I like to let it out bit by bit so as not to be heard by anyone. If I make no noise doing so and no one smells it, I feel quite a sense of accomplishment. That sense of accomplishment is replaced by fear, because I wonder if my friends are doing the same thing to me.

I agree with Raitozaki- I do it too (the trick is to sit so that your butt cheeks spread a bit which prevents the sound) but why would you care if others do it too, if they can do it without sound or smell? Personally, I’d prefer a society where we just acknowledged that bodily functions are universal and normal, and didn’t worry about them at all.
I’ve heard that some countries don’t care! I don’t personally.
according to how many “me too’s” you have here, your fear of having your friends doing that to you too is more than reasonable.
