conditioned
after i condition my hair in the shower, i have to stand under the water and rub my face, shoulders and arms for a long time, until i feel better. the idea of stepping out of the shower with conditioner still on my body makes me crazy.

omg im the same. conditioner is so slimy and gross. i hate how my hair feels after shampooing though so i need conditioner. its a love-hate relationship really.
Why don’t you condition first, then wash your body? I mean, I’m just saying…
response to reddell: i dont like washing my body after my hair because i dont want the body soap to make my hair less soft from the conditioner! just another thing i do though.
why does the body soap get into your hair?? also, buy inexpensive shampoo (don’t wash your hair every day unless you have to) but buy very good, natural conditioner and cleanse your hair with that. the cheap stuff has poor ingredients which is why you feel it on your skin and can’t seem to get rid of it.
Answer: hair clip. Condition, rinse, clip up your hair, then wash. No soap in hair, no conditioner on your skin. WIN!
Maria i like your idea the best!
i hate this so bad… so much that i have to wash my hair upsidedown!! and when im done i cant let my hair touch my skin again for fear it still has conditioner on it!!
who new conditioner was such an issue??! another idea…why not buy some leave-in conditioner that doesn’t need to be rinsed out? you need much, much less to do the job so it should not eaven get near your skin. i have very cury, wild hair so i think i’ve tried every product made!
sorry for my above typo (new for KNEW). much too early in the morning!
@spike: ew….. thats like way worse. why would i want that stuff LEFT in my hair?
hey kriss – you just have to find the right stuff, truly. the more expensive stuff doesn’t feel slimy and you only need a little to make it happen. every time i cheap out on conditioner i feel the same way, that it’s all over my skin. i think the chep crap has some sort of wax as a base. yuck. nice stuff like aveda, deva, EO will rinse right off, i promise!
I thought conditioner was good. Its better for the hair. So they usually recommend to not rinse it off completely.
wash hair, rinse, condition, rinse, clip out of the way on top of head, wash body, dry, dress, dry hair.
I can’t wash the rest of my body until the conditioner is rinsed out of my hair. I simply can’t. I’m afraid it will give me back acne if I let it stay on my skin.
