I must wear sunscreen every day (sunny or not), and every night too. Otherwise, my face will get wrinkled and old in a few hours.

Hm. Very Funny.
I wish I had thought of this. I didn’t wear sun screen at all yesterday and now I’m all red to prove it.
Better safe than sorry I guess.
actually, you SHOULD wear sunscreen every day, not just because of the aging effect. even one bad sunburn in your youth can cause skin cancer later n in life, especially with constant exposure. so werar sunscreen. look beautiful and cancer-free!
as if there are no carcinogens in sunscreen… every day seems dangerous to me as well.

gosh bill, i’m truly sorry life is so scary for you. i just wanted to encourage people to take a simple step to avoid something REALLY scary. skin cancer is the number one type of cancer in america, and growing among young adults. not to sermonize, but it’s fairly easy to prevent, so why not??
Just fyi you need some sun to be healthy. Your body can’t produce several essential compounds without it. The most notable is Vitamin D, which makes calcium available to the human body. Many young people (>30 yo) shows signs of bone loss that normally don’t show up until old age because of too little sun and unhealthy diets.
@coreyboborey
you sound like my friend corey who i think is inherently funny
i wish i wore sunscreen more often thanx for this post
corey bo borey — you are absolutely correct about sunshine/vitamin d deficiency and the sunscreen issue. i believe the requisite is 15 minutes per day for producing vitamin d in the body. i personally think there are too many extremes going on — people who never leave the house in daylight and those who lay on the beach for 8 hours with baby oil on their skin!! 15 minutes (not at high noon) probably won’t burn you. it’s the people out all day with no protection that are most at risk. obviously, people with very light skin and pale eye color are high risk. have had an instance of a not-too-bad skin cancer, despite my neurosis of protecting myself, i guess i’ve become a zealot!
