editors tend to be neurotic
I am a compulsive editor. When I read anything, I can’t help but notice spelling and grammar mistakes, and I often think of how I would rewrite a sentence to make it sound better.

I constantly find errors in published books, and it makes me feel both superior and angry.
I am a complete grammar nazi. In school, when I friends passed me notes, I corrected their grammer and spelling and passed them back. As you can see, I was wildly popular.
To the previous comment – “when I friends passed me notes” – I don’t think you are quite as neurotic as you first thought.
oh man…that slipped past the grammar & spelling nazi! wait, was that supposed to be a joke?

I do the same thing. I can not stand it when I find grammatical or typographical errors in books. It makes me want to get some white out and fix it.

Andrea, the “grammar nazi,” corrected her friends “grammer and spelling.”
I hope that post was a joke.
