@danceportal: Agreed. I’m neurotic about time being only on the 5s and 0s; my alarm certainly is never set on a number ending with anything else. If I wake up before my alarm I will wait until it goes off, not to get more sleep but to insure that I do not get out of bed until the time is correct.

ive done it so when i set my alarm and hit snooze twice (my old clock used to have a 9 minute snooze button) i would wake up EXACTLY at the time i wanted to… If i needed to be up at 7:30 i would set the clock to 7:12… it sounds crazier when you actually type it.

haha for me it’s opposite—even if my alarm goes off at an odd time—i wont get out of bed or start a project or assignment or anything until it’s either :15, :30, :45 or :00…

I often wake up before my alarm or after it on the 47s… when I was in high school I often woke up at 7:47 I have no special love of airplanes but it was definitely odd.

When I set alarms, the last digit has to be the same as the last digit of the time it is when I am setting the alarm. So if I need to get up at 06:00 and the time when I’m setting the alarm is 22:47, I set the alarm for 05:57.
