When I copy something on the computer to paste it somewhere else, I always press command C three times, just in case whatever I was trying to copy didn’t process the first time. If I’m especially worried about it, I’ll do it six or nine times.

Oh my god, this is so familiar.
I honestly thought I was the ONLY one to do that. I am VERY nervous that it didn’t work the first 2 times so I do it a third time. I will often repeat the process as well.
there is a much easier way to make sure your file copies. select file, then move cursor to edit -> copy. if the file is copied, the word copy on this menu will turn grey to indicate function completed.
