proper bed making
The blanket on my bed has checks woven into it. When I make my bed in the morning, I must make sure the lines of the checks run perfectly parallel to the sides and headboard. Needless to say I have to get up extra early every day.

would it just be silly of me to suggest getting a plain blanket or one with a random pattern? maybe you could sleep a little later!
You’re totally right. I will definitely buy a plain blanket next time or perhaps a comforter. I look forward to more sleep!
hi mark — it’s the little things that make us happy! i’m not a very good sleeper so i try to have as little disruption as possible. i like plain bed linens because they are not distracting! sweet dreams…

I have a winter blanket with two tigers on it. Every time it gets cold it drive me crazy because if they arn’t aligned perfectly to the bed I feel like they will be upset. In the summer I have a plain blanket with large squares on it and that makes it very easy to line up. Putting your bed on the floor helps too because there is no gap between the floor and the bed.
