lots of towels
I’m not a clean freak… But every night when I get ready to go to bed, I always get a brand new bath towel. The “old” towels were only used once, but i just HAVE to get a new one. My mom ends up complaining that she can’t keep up with the laundry for some reason and there are no more towels half way through the week..

just a thought, on behalf of your poor mom, how about learning to do the laundry? i’d like to have clean towels every day and clean sheets, too, but i work all day and can’t be doing laundry a million times. i taught my kids how to do the laundry when they were 10 years old and they are FABULOUS at it. they used to like to change clothes every other minute (so it seemed) so they needed to learn to keep up their lifestyle! you’re old enough to type you’re old enough to push the button on the washing machine, i promise.
I can do laundry, quite well too
it’s just that the homework and sports really distracts me.
NEW YEARS RESOLUTION: do more laundry
your mom will be so happy with your resolution!! my son is so good at laundry that his girlfriends all wanted to marry him.
When I was like 11, I went to my aunt’s house (in Michigan) and she was so pissed that I threw once-used towels in the hamper instead of hanging them up and using them again. But where I’m from (in Florida), towels mildew because of how humid it is here, and really can only be used once or they smell like ass.
I thought everyone used brand new towels every time. I get quite irritated when there are none left and I must use an old one. Everyone in my house does the same.
