Whenever I sing a song and someone tries to talk to me, I have to finish the part that I’m singing before I talk to them because otherwise it will bother me. Just the fact that I’m doing something and someone interrupt me irks me.

that’s how I feel about phones ringer–cell phone or land line alike–
i haven’t answered a ringing phone in twenty years. I’ve never understood
how this kind of “interruption” is so okay (encouraged even), while “interrupting”
while someone else is speaking (by suddenly speaking) is major bad . . .
