lizards in my shoes
Ever since i was small and found a lizard in my shoe, I always have a need to check in my shoe at least twice every time i wear them.

only one thing freaks me out– 1000 leggers aka millipedes. hate them dead or alive. found a dead one curled up in my shoe one day and could barely make myself go to school. pretty sure i never wore the shoes again! oh, yeah, i check now.
I have always been terrified of scorpions in my shoes. Now I live where there are no scorpions but I still find myself emptying my shoes.
oh my goodness that would be my worst fear realised
