I totally understand how you feel. If the tooth brushes don’t all stand up straight in their holders, or if I don’t check the stoves are off and the locks are locked four to eight times before going to bed, I feel that the same thing you are afraid of will happen (But I can’t say it outloud or type it or it will happen.)

Counting toothbrush strokes doesn’t hurt anybody, so why not write it off as a cute quirk if you can’t identify with it? That’s kind of the way this site works.
