When I’m lying in bed and I can’t hear my boyfriend breathing, I’m afraid he’s died and I have to shake him awake. The same goes for any sleeping person in my presence.

Holding your hand under their nose would be a heck of a lot less irritating.

or how about just putting your hand on his chest? you may end up with the boyfriend sleeping in the guest room or on the couch if you don’t stop waking him!
If you shook someone and they were dead, they aren’t going to care whether they are dead or alive b/c they are dead…thus the act of waking up someone to make sure they are alive is a selfish act b/c the only person you’re relieving is yourself and pissing off the other person for waking them.
Well… it shows how much you care about your boyfriend and other people.

This is a very wise thing to do. Folk are dying all the time. Your actions are may have saved your boyfriend’s life many times over. But I say ‘may’ because you can’t be sure.
Is he still sleeping with you ?
