i am neurotic.

I always shave my legs twice. Once with the water off, then right when I turn the water back on – my legs get goosebumps when the hot water hits them so I get a much closer shave the second time.

I buy a lot of movies. I have Goo Gone on top of my movie shelves to get off all sticker remnants before putting them in my collection. I also have extra cases, in case one is broken, I can switch it out.

When I brush my teeth I count each stroke; if I do not do this my family will die.

Every time I flush the toilet, I watch until the bowl has completely emptied out…I’m always afraid it will back up and overflow if I’m not watching.

I can’t handle getting water in my ears. Even in the shower. When I rinse my hair, I have to plug my ears. I don’t put my head under water when swimming not even with earplugs. Just thinking about that sound when water goes inside my ears makes me cringe.

I’m relaxing in the rub reading your book (given to me as a Christmas gift) but had to stop, get out of the tub and pick the remainder of the price tag off and clean any/all remaining glue before I could continue.

I cannot clean unless I organize everything first. I put all the shoes in one pile, make up in another, clothes in another, so on and so forth. Then i can put everything thing away. Though during the process I have to reorganize the draw, shelf, or closet I am putting the object into before I put it away. Also every article of clothing I own has to be in color order: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, gray, white, brown; and from light to dark per color.

Every time I brush my teeth, after applying the toothpaste to my toothbrush, I have to lick it before commencing the teeth brushing.

When I do sudoku, I start with the upper left box, filling in as many numbers as I can in ascending order 1 through 9. If I can fill in a number, I start over at 1 until I have to move on, and then I move down to center left, bottom left, upper center, middle center, bottom center, upper right, middle right, and then if the last square does not have a 9, I go back and solve the rest of the puzzle and then fill in bottom right, saving 9 for last. If bottom right does have a 9, I continue with that square in order and then fill in the rest of the puzzle. I worry that if I don’t do it in this order, I will not complete the puzzle properly.

When I type anything that is to be submitted like a comment, update or note on my Facebook, Twitter, forum or a post on any one of my blogs I have to submit it first to make sure it looks alright. If it has a misspelling, small punctuation mistake or left something out I delete it, rewrite it and submit it again. This has to be annoying to anyone who is “following” or is a “friend” of me. No one has said anything about it yet. I feel like I am leaving something out. I am probably going to delete this then submit again.
