I apologize for the lack of posting over the past couple days. The site was hacked as some of you know which caused google to put a big red warning sign on the site. But thankfully the problem has been fixed. I neurotically checked at least 15 times over than past 2 hours. Unfortunately, the Twitter account is temporarily down, but hopefully they will realize the problem has been fixed and will no longer suspect iamneurotic of suspicious activity. Thank you for your continued readership! Neurotics United!

I have noticed that this website usually posts new neurosis once in the morning, and once in the afternoon. There was no afternoon post yesterday. This breaks the usual pattern, and is truly concerning to me.

My friend, who has been kind enough to provide editorial support for this site, wakes up at 6AM sharp every morning and reads through hundreds of neuroses before she even goes to the bathroom.

She absolutely must sign up for every website on the internet with the same username, so she can remain unique on the internet.

After reading someone’s submission about counting the number of times it takes him/her to drink a glass of juice, she started doing the same thing.

when i’m reading http://iamneurotic.com i always try to dig beneath the comments to see whether any of this is real or they are all just the fevered imagination of the host.

RESPONSE: I can assure you that this is all real. Even if I wanted to come up with these on my own, I don’t think I can because I lack a fevered imagination. At most, I’ll fix the occasional typo or misspelling. I’ve posted only one of my neuroses titled “peeing with people” on April 20.
