Every time I pick something up off the floor, I have to shake it a bit in case there are any bugs/spiders on it. It’s never happened that there was one, but it doesn’t hurts to make sure!

I can’t kill bugs with my bare hands. People laugh at me as I swat away mosquitoes, because I don’t want to touch them. If there’s a convenient other way of killing them nearby, like water or a vacuum, then I can do it.

floaters in the chocolate milk

Someone posted on the website FML about finding ants in their chocolate milk mix. Now, whenever I make chocolate milk, I always stir it around to make sure there are no ants in it.

If I kill a spider or any bug for that matter, i have to put it in the toilet and FLUSH IT for fear that it will swim to the side, crawl up the bowl and bite me.

spider attack with a vengeance

If I kill a spider I have to flush it down the toilet because if I threw it in the trash either a) it’d come back to life and seek vengeance, or b) its family would find it then hunt me down.

ants not in my pants but on my shoulder

if someone touchs my shoulder i have to brush it off and the other shoulder too if not it feels like ants are biting at my skin.

scan your drink

i cannot drink out of plastic soft drink bottles, water bottles, and sports drink bottles with the paper that has the logo on it. i always take it off so i can see what i’m drinking so i don’t swallow bugs or objects that are in the container.

spinach, bugs, and frogs stir fry

When I open a bag of spinach, I have to use it all at once or I can’t use it again. I’m afraid something (it used to be bugs. Now it’s frogs) will get in the bag and wind up in whatever I’m cooking.

I can’t eat croissants due to the ridges and their half moon shape. It reminds me of a bug cocoon. I’m afraid when I bite into a croissant, I’ll end up eating larva.

bed bugs

If I see a bug in my house, I can’t sleep at night. I mummify myself in my blankets so nothing can get in (even if it’s already sweltering in my room), then wake up throughout the night to crawling sensations all over my skin. Also any piece of lint or fuzz immediately starts to look a spider.
