what do you do with the box of blues?
I don’t eat the blue M&M’s. It has been so long that I forget why. So I collect them in this box.

Every time i see anything rainbowish, i have to look for the Roy G. Biv pattern.
okay so if there are 4 blue juice boxes in the fridge and 5 red juice boxes i HAVE to drink a red juice box before I drink a blue one. They always should be in order….I don’t want blue to think I favor red.
I didn’t realize I was doing it, but my coworkers pointed out that whenever I would put something up on my cube wall with push-pins, I would select (from the multi-colored box) all one color for each paper I put up. And, I had set colors for types of papers (yellow for planning, green for personal pictures, etc). They thought it was funny to switch the push-pins. I HAD to change them back. I’m so sad they know this.
I have this big fear of forgetting things. I constantly use post-its to write down little lists of things i have to do, things i need to get, music i want to download, or even things that interest me. I can never have any of these same things on the same post-it and every list has to be a different color. Needless to say, I own a lot of post-its and my planner is filled with them.
the dinner i ordered the other day came with tri-colored tortilla chips. without a conscience effort, i ate the regular colored chips first, then the red ones and finally the black ones. and with each new chip, i chewed slowly as though each chip had to convince me it was still the same flavor, only colored differently.
I can’t eat food that are not the colour they are supposed to be. Like green tomato sauce or purple carrots or whatever, i just can’t eat it. It’s not right.
i am extremely neurotic when it comes to colors concerning my personal spaces (my home, car, desk at work…). i enjoy a neutral palette. everything from my clothes / walls in my house / the stationery i use are either white, gray, black, or translucent. its gotten so bad i switch out food packaging and spray paint items i need to fit my color scheme. i do like some bright colors but i will only wear / have one out at a time; when stored away, they go in separate containers. it bothers me that the digital clock on my oven and the one on my microwave are two different shades of green, so i always cover one up. i swear i’m not crazy, just color consistent.
I have to have all white hangers in my closet. Sometimes, my brother will switch out my white hangers for colored ones and I get very angry. Then, I must switch out the hanger(s) that very second and do something for payback.
I really, really hate using blue pens for writing notes in my lectures. If I don’t have a black pen, I feel like my entire day is thrown off and there’s no point in even keeping those notes anymore. I’ve even re-written some blue-ink notes in black just to restore order.
