i am neurotic.

I hate it when I’m watching a movie where their phone starts ringing, and they, for some reason, will not pick it up. It just keeps ringing and ringing and ringing. It drives me crazy. I just wanna reach into the screen and answer it for them.

Whenever I watch a show that portrays a woman giving birth, I have to hold my breath when she pushes. I feel like it will help her push more quickly.

Whenever I play do the work-outs on Wii’s “Gold’s Gym”, I have to bow back to the instructor when he bows to me. I know it’s silly but it only seems right.

When I order a tv show on demand, if the message before the show starts says “thank you, enjoy your show”, I have to pretend to enjoy it even if I don’t. If not, I feel terrible that the tv was so polite and I couldn’t fake it. Also, I feel incredibly rude if I fall asleep.

Every time I watch a movie by Paramount, I have to say (usually under my breath if other people are around) “There are 22 stars in the Paramount circle.” Lately, though, I have realised that it’s not a full circle, so I’ve started saying “There are 22 stars in the Paramount semi-circle.”

Whenever there is a part in a movie or a game where the character is underwater, I have to hold my breath too. If I can’t hold it long enough I’ll take the smallest breath possible then hold again. I do this for as long as the scene goes.

I have this weird obsession with tv remotes. everytime I use one I use three fingers to group the buttons into mutiples of three. If it doesn’t add up to be a multiple of three, I keep trying anyway. I still try on my own tv remote that i’ve had for eight years.

When watching America’s Next Top Model, every time Tyra introduces Nigel as the “noted photographer,” I always have to chime in with…”Noted (but not celebrated) photographer, Nigel Barker.”

There are certain ways I watch DVDS. Like if its a dramatic or scary movie, I have to watch it at night, but if its a comedy or romance then I could watch it anytime. And I don’t like watching certain movies on my small personal DVD player. Like I tried watching Phantom on the Opera on it, but the movie seemed so much bigger than the small screen could handle.

Whenever I play a Mario game or a videogame where you collect coins or gems, I have to get ALL of the coins, and if I leave some, I leave an even number of coins, because I don’t want to leave one of the coins alone forever
