i am neurotic.

I cannot make simple phone calls. When I realize I need a prescription refilled or call a co-worker, I panic and avoid the telephone for days. Sometimes I’ll dial and hang up. But it can take weeks to make a call. Now I have to plan weeks ahead of time to make appointments etc. Suffice to say, it becomes embarrassing.

I hate it when I’m watching a movie where their phone starts ringing, and they, for some reason, will not pick it up. It just keeps ringing and ringing and ringing. It drives me crazy. I just wanna reach into the screen and answer it for them.

I never wear watches. Every time someone asks me for the time i look at my wrist for a few seconds as if i had a watch on and then i take out my phone and tell them the time. People look at me very baffled but I can’t help it.

Whenever I have missed calls on my phone, I have to go through them and delete them from my list until it says 0 missed calls. I don’t want anyone to see my phone and think I ignore people.

My cellular provider charges by the minute. When I call and get a busy signal, I listen to it for 59 seconds to get my money’s worth.

My cell phone has to be fully charged.. if I see anything less than full bars on my battery meter, it will bug me for the rest of the day until I can plug it in.

When I am texting someone I feel lame if I respond too quickly. So if they take five minutes to respond, I save my message into my drafts folder and wait at least five minutes, usually more, to send it, so that they’ll think I have more important things to do.

If I’m texting someone and they don’t answer back immediately, I count the amount of time that passes between texts. If the amount of time goes over 20 minutes, I feel like they don’t like me and I get annoyed.

When people text me and I’ve just gotten out of the shower, and i’m still naked, i cannot text them back, or even look at my phone. i’m afraid the person will be able to see me naked. Same thing if i’m on the toilet.

Whenever I am doing something, such as talking on the phone I always like to hang up when it is on an ‘even’ number. I prefer when the 10s and 5s most of all.
