When walking up a flight of stairs, I have to begin with my right foot and end at the top with my left foot. As I approach the top of the stairs, and can see that I will end with my right foot, I will skip a step to ensure it is my left foot finishing.

In front of my stairs at home, there are three tiles. I have to step on the center tile with my left foot, and then step up to the first step with my right, no matter what. This rule doesn’t apply to other staircases though; only my own.

I have a bizarre aversion to people who stand on my left side. It makes me feel uneasy and paranoid when someone stands directly to my left. I don’t mind if someone stands directly to my right, but I often stand with my left shoulder against a wall when I’m out in public to avoid the anxiety.

I always shave my legs right first, then left, ever since I started shaving. So the other day I decided that I was going to prove a point to myself, and started shaving my LEFT leg first. Silly neuroses won’t win over me!, i thought. Then I cut my leg with my razor. Not only that, i cut my right leg too after i finished the left. Needless to say, this morning I shaved my right leg first.

I always have to start shaving with my right leg. I also have to put my socks on right foot first, and then shoes on right foot first. but I can’t do right foot sock then shoe, left foot sock then shoe, because then my feet are uneven. I also start walking with my right foot.

I wear mismatched socks all the time but shades of red socks must ALWAYS go on my right foot and blue shades on my left. Always, always, always. This is do to the fact that I associate red with blood and, with my right foot being my dominate foot, that’s the foot I would kick people with. My left foot is my pacifist foot and blue means peace to me.

Sometimes my wife will tickle my left inner forearm from the wrist to my elbow joint. When she stops I need her to do the right side otherwise I don’t feel even. Sometimes she refuses just to watch me squirm so I\’ll have to do the right side myself.

the lines on the road go tap tap tap

Every time I am the passenger in a vehicle, I tap my foot everytime a road line goes by. If the line is on the right side of the vehicle it is the right foot that taps. Left side, left foot. If the lines are going to fast for one foot i will alternate feet( right left right left) I have done this for as long as I can remember. I dont do it while driving though.

being circular in the shower

If I accidentally turn around in the shower, I have to balance it out on the other side. For instance, if I turn one full circle to the right, I have to turn one full circle to the left as I climb out of the shower. I really don’t know why.
