i am neurotic.

At my school, after every test we have a pledge stating that “On my honor I have neither given no received any help on this test,” after writing it you’re supposed to sign your name. Every time I write it out I can’t help but say “amen.”

When it is time to schedule classes I want to have the best one so much that I make an excel spreadsheet of every possible combination. Last semester I had 83 spreadsheets.

When I start studying, I read and review using my own voice in my head. When one of my friends comes to visit me in the library, after they are gone I use their voice to study in my head and go over stuff. I use them until the next friend, and when their corresponding questions come up on tests, I answer in my head with their respective “voices.”

i am completely afraid of falling asleep in class. i worry that all my muscles will relax too much and will fart as i fall asleep, and when i wake up everyone will be laughing at me.

I am failing my online American Government class because if I cannot get my journal done and turned in 30 minutes early I can’t make myself turn it in last minute.

prom is coming up, and i’m terrified to open anything given to me by a boy, lest there’s a “prom?” note hidden in the inside.

When a teacher plays a video up on a projector, there is nothing I despise more than when they leave the cursor in plain sight. It does not take a lot of effort to move it off to the side of the screen. It just baffles me as to why they think this is an acceptable and humane practice.

Whenever I type study notes for my classes, I use the same font that my teachers do in their handouts. I do this because I’m scared of mixing up what I studied when I write tests.
