Whenever I take a shower, I need to make sure that there aren’t any rubber duckies (or other bath toys) facing me. I always turn them around so that they can’t watch me.

When I was younger I was really paranoid that my dogs were robots with video cameras in their heads so that the government could watch my family so I never let them in my room while I was getting dressed.

whenever i am in front of the mirror i have to make quick movements and do obscure things because i am convinced the person i see in the mirror is not me, but someone hiding inside of it.

I always act as if I’m being watched, even when I know I’m not or no one is around. I pretend it’s a comedy and I purposefully trip over stuff and say things I know I shouldn’t. But it usually doesn’t matter, because no one is around

Whenever I go into a changing room in stores, I’ll look veeery closely at the mirror, because I think there might be somebody watching me, or there’s a video camera behind the glass. Sometimes if I’m getting a particularly bad vibe from that mirror, I flip it off or I curse at it.

I have a macbook with a built-in camera. After I shower, I go into my room and I always have to turn it around or turn it off because I’m afraid it’s on and someone is watching me.

contact lenses remember things

I take my right contact lens out first, and after putting it in its case, I hold my thumb over it and repeat “forget my secrets” three times. I repeat the process for the left lens. When it’s time for a new pair, I have to cut the old pair into tiny pieces, just in case they haven’t forgotten everything they helped me see.

I can’t change in a room with band/movie posters, or any kind of picture/object with eyes. I either have to cover them up or turn them around.
